Holy
Smoke!
The inaugural
Royal
Gorge Holy Smoke BBQ Showdown
will be held at the
football field just west of the historic Holy Cross
Abbey! The FCA will assist the Belvedere Blues
Foundation in this terrific new community event,
featuring $5,200 in cash prizes for the
KCBS-sanctioned BBQ competition event. Also
featuring a "Weenie Dog Race," a smokin' salsa
contest, and a 'Monastery Mystery' cooking contest
for the competing BBQ teams!
The
"Continental Kids" will perform Friday night,
following the Blue Dogs! Entertainment on
Saturday will include Keith Dame, "Spur of the
Moment" and the "Jake Loggins Band!"
