"Wine, Jazz
and Art
On The Arkansas"

admission!)
is moving to the Holy Cross
Abbey Winery grounds on Highway 50 at the east end of Cañon
City, and we're obviously changing the game plan!
We'll "Jazz It Up!" with a full selection of award-winning
wines from The Winery at Holy Cross Abbey, and we will
feature some terrific jazz bands! It will take
place over the weekend of
June 21 and 22 (Saturday and Sunday), 2008, and will be one
of
Southern Colorado's premier exhibits for artists, artisans
and crafts experts! And this year, with the new
setting at The Winery, we'll be featuring a terrific lineup
of jazz bands! We'll feature "The Brad Bietry
Quartet," "Changing Times," "The Queen City Jazz Band," the
Pikes Peak Jazz and Swing Society and much more! As in years past, we will feature an amazing array of arts & crafts, accompanied by
entertainment, food & fun, in a beautiful setting at The
Winery. The juried event will draw another great

Fourth
Annual Brew-Ha-Ha
- The
fourth annual
event is set for Saturday, May 10, 2008! We'll have
more than 20 of the state's top brewers (plus a pair of
national microbrewers!!), as
well as more top-notch stand-up comedians who will travel to
Cañon
City for the show! We will feature craft beer tasting
from the best brewers from around Colorado from 3 to 6 p.m.
Our stand-up comedians (Gretchen Hess, Bob Meddles, Frank
Schuchat and Gina Trammell) will keep you rolling during the beer
tasting session! And at 6 p.m., we'll have the
fabulous "Atomic Fireballs, featuring Carlos Crull and
Johnny Watson," playing blues, jump and swing music to
some jazz and country! Special announcement: Texas
blues guitarist Buddy Whittington ('Godfather of the
British blues' John
Mayall's lead guitar player for the past 14 years!) is
coming to town to join the Atomic Fireballs! This will
be the show for you! It'll be one of the best parties in Southern
Colorado - to celebrate the art of making craft beer! Click
