NEW YEAR, NEW SPIRIT, NEW HOME

Fremont Center for the Arts (FCA) was founded in 1947 and has the distinction of being the oldest (76 years), privately run art center West of the Mississippi River. With the building being listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Fremont County is home to a true treasure. Since 1992, FCA’s home has been the old U.S. Post Office located at 505 Macon Ave in Can on City. Due to unfortunate circumstances, in 2019 the FCA board faced a very difficult decision. In order to keep the doors of the center open, the building was sold to a local investor. Graciously, this investor offered to let FCA remain established under a very generous lease agreement. Today, sadly, our home is on the market to be sold and FCA’s lease will expire at the end of April, 2024. With the start of this new year, FCA is searching for a new home. We have been offered a main street business location that would be ideal. This space would offer greater exposure to the community and visitors. a larger gallery space for exhibits and expansion into performing and musical arts. In order to secure this new location, we need to raise $300,000 for a down-payment. It is our hope that by reaching out to fellow community members and organizations, this dream can be realized. We are seeking any financial support that you or your organization can offer, with the following levels being proudly displayed on a sponsor wall at the new location:

Greater than $20,000 – Life-time Sponsor

$15,000 - $19,999 – Platinum Sponsor

$10,000 – $14,999 – Gold Sponsor

$5,000 - $9,999 – Silver Sponsor

Up to $4,999 – FCA Friend for Life

The current FCA board is humbled by the generosity of our community and offers our heartfelt thanks and appreciation for any gift you are able to offer. The continued success of this amazing organization is something everyone should relish.
