Sasquatch is Coming to Town

A full-day series of Bigfoot-themed workshops, stories, and community conversations led by researcher Jim Myers. The event offers hands-on art activities, personal encounter sharing, and a keynote exploring Sasquatch evidence and DNA research.

Jim Myers will read a children's level storybook about Sasquatch and take questions from his audience. The Story will be the inspiration for an art class taught by artist Kelly hankamer. In this class participants will create a watercolor environment for their bigfoot figure placed into their self created background.

Jim Myers will share a real life Sasquatch experience and research to an audience of teens (ages 15 and up) and adults. Then instructor and artist Cheryl Soltis will lead participants as they trace stencils of bigfoot, trees, mountains, and rocks onto an 11x14 canvas. Participants will then paint their pieces with acrylic paint.
